MARK WAHLBERG has inked a deal to make a documentary series set in his native Boston, Massachusetts.
The actor will serve as executive producer on the as-yet-untitled series, about four friends from Boston trying to overcome their working-class roots.
Wahlberg has been given the green light to make six episodes of the show, reports Deadline.com.
It's not the only TV project Wahlberg currently has in the pipeline - he is also making a pilot about retired athletes living in Miami, Florida, and signed up his Pain & Gain co-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for the cast.
