Lindsay Lohan angry over Amanda Bynes' lack of punishment

LINDSAY LOHAN has taken a swipe at fellow former child star AMANDA BYNES following the actress' recent run-ins with police, questioning why she hasn't been jailed for a spate of driving offences.

Bynes, who started her career on kids channel Nickelodeon, has left fans concerned after a series of driving disasters. She had her licence suspended earlier this month (Sep12) while she faces a DUI charge and two counts of hit-and-run.

She continued to drive and was involved in a fender bender last week (ends16Sep12) before her car was finally impounded, and she received a misdemeanour citation on Sunday (16Sep12) when she was pulled over by cops.

But Bynes' low-level punishments have infuriated Lohan, who was briefly sent to jail twice in recent years over her own run-ins with the law.

Taking to her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?"
