JUSTIN BIEBER was given a boost during his trip to London this week (beg04Mar13) when he was honoured with a permanent pavement tribute, just hours before he infuriated fans by arriving late for his first show in London.

The Canadian singer was presented with a stone on Wembley Way, a sidewalk outside the city's famed Wembley Stadium, to commemorate his record-breaking gig there last year (12).

Bieber received the "loudest scream" ever recorded at the venue when he took to the stage for the Capital FM Summertime Ball show, and the achievement has now been memorialised in a paving stone.

The Baby hitmaker was presented with a plaque on Monday (04Mar13), and the stone will be laid outside the stadium.

Bieber said of the honour, "Thank you to Wembley Stadium for presenting me with my official Wembley Way Stone! Such an honour to be part of Wembley history, and thank you to my amazing U.K. Beliebers (fans) for helping me put on an incredible show last year!''

British rockers Coldplay previously received a stone at the site after their performance at the Summertime Ball show was voted Wembley Stadium's Greatest Moment of the Year for 2012.

The honour came just hours before Bieber delayed the start of his gig at the city's O2 Arena, forcing many parents to take their young children home before the performance began.
