R&B superstar JANET JACKSON and supermodel HEIDI KLUM are set to be honored at New York's upcoming American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) gala for their extensive charity work.

The pair will be joined by fellow honouree, designer Kenneth Cole, at the black-tie event, which recognizes those who have made "exceptional contributions" in the fight against the deadly disease.

The annual bash, which benefits Dame Elizabeth Taylor's charity foundation, is due to be held on 6 February (13).
