Cee Lo Green signs on as publishing firm's new big boss

CEE LO GREEN has added music executive to his list of titles after signing on as chief creative officer at the music publishing company he joined as an artist in 2010.

The Forget You singer, actor and judge on U.S. TV talent show The Voice in on his way to becoming a partner of Primary Wave Music, according to company founder and CEO Larry Mestel.

Calling Green "a master creator, unique visionary, charismatic entertainer and deceptively brilliant strategist", Mestel has given the star a "piece of the company".

In his capacity as CCO, Green will advise his label mates on everything from their sound to album artwork and he'll also mastermind the company's big annual Grammy Awards party.
