Brown 'to perform at the Grammys'

CHRIS BROWN is reportedly set to perform at this weekend's (12Feb12) Grammy Awards, three years after he was forced to pull out of the event following his bust-up with ex-girlfriend RIHANNA.
The Associated Press reports the Kiss Kiss hitmaker will hit the stage at Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles, where his former lover will also sing.
If the unconfirmed report is true, it will be Brown's first appearance at the prizegiving since the 2009 incident.
Both of the stars were due to perform that year (09), but they cancelled their slots at the last minute after the rapper left Rihanna battered and bruised following a pre-Grammy Awards party.
The altercation saw Brown land an assault conviction, and he was also handed five years probation, six months of community service and ordered to take a series of domestic violence counselling classes.
