Actress Karen David injured on TV shoot

Actress KAREN DAVID was hospitalized on Thursday night (17Jan13) after she fell from a moving van while filming a stunt for TV crime drama CASTLE.

The Touch star was shooting a guest role in the show on set on California when an action scene went horribly wrong.

David was admitted to a local hospital suffering from a neck injury and was released hours later, but the stuntman who was working with her sustained a head injury and is said to be in a serious condition.

David's manager William Blaylock tells Deadline.com, "Karen was the actress in the scene with the stuntman. They fell from a moving van when a door would not shut. Karen was in the emergency room for hours being treated. She has been released but is in serious pain and has to wear a neck brace."
