Buzz Aldrin's showbiz resume has a new entry.

Following his stint on "Dancing With the Stars" and a guest appearance on "The Simpsons," Aldrin's lined up a cameo on an upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."

Called "The Holographic Excitation," the episode finds the "Big Bang" crew celebrating Halloween at Stuart's comic book store, and the writers have found a way for Aldrin to make a cameo as himself.

The astronaut joins a long line of guest star wins for the CBS comedy, which has previously featured Leonard Nimoy, Brent Spiner and Wil Wheaton, and another astronaut, Mike Massimino.

Catch Aldrin's appearance on October 25 at 8 p.m. ET.
