BALTIMORE, MD - When the sun is up, Dr. Norman Prentiss is an English teacher at the Shoshana Cardin School. By night, he is a scary writer who just won the Bram Stoker Award, named after the accomplished writer famous for "Dracula." Prentiss is no stranger to top awards, he was given the Sophie Kerr Award when he was a senior at Washington College.
Today on Good Morning Maryland @ 9, Jamie sat down with Dr. Prentiss to learn more about his writing including his work with "Cemetary Dance Magazine, the awards, teaching students, and his first book, "Invisible Fences". Dr. Prentiss also gave listeners a chance to hear him read from his book.
