LOS ANGELES (AP) - "Thor" nailed down the No. 1 spot at the box office again.
The 3-D superhero film from Paramount, based on the Marvel comic, earned $34.5 million in its second weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday. Australian actor Chris Hemsworth stars as the arrogant god of thunder who's sent down to Earth as punishment.
Universal Pictures' "Bridesmaids," the raunchy comedy starring Kristen Wiig, debuted in second place with $24.4 million. Universal's car-racing sequel "Fast Five" shifted into the third position with $19.5 million in its third weekend in theaters.
