Valarie Timms

Valarie Timms is a senior at Northeast High School in Anne Arundel County. This is her second year in the Teen Media Project.

She is a member of the National Society For High School Journalists in addition to four other distinguished honor societies.

Valarie plans to attend Brandeis University in the fall to double major in Political Science and American Studies with a double minor in journalism and musical theater.

As a HOBY alumni, Valarie is dedicated to community service and the spread of optimism.

She recently served as a Student Page in the Maryland Legislature. Her other passions include acting, singing, and dancing.
