Hello everyone! My name is Bahareh Jabbari and I am a senior at Western High School.

This is my third year in the Teen Media Project. I'm the president of the National Honors Society, founder and president of Western's UNICEF Club and a student representative on the School Improvement team. I also teach at a "Farsi School" and volunteer at American Red Cross once a week. I have been playing tennis since I was a little girl and currently I am the captain of my school's tennis team. Aside from working at ABC 2, I also work at Hampton National Historic Site as a park ranger. When I'm free, I love to hang out with friends, shop and bowl.

My goal is to help inform people about poverty and crisis around the world that is why I joined this program. Next year I will attend Johns Hopkins University, double majoring in Public Health and Film and Media Studies. My goal is to be part of the Doctors Without Borders program and as I travel to developing countries I hope to make documentaries to show the problems that exist in our world.
