Study tips/ what type of learner are you web story
Studying smarter, not harder is all about finding what works best for you and sticking to it. Not all people learn and process information in the same way.
There are general types of learning styles that are each associated with specific techniques that can be used to study more efficiently.
Match your results with the study tips below:
Visual (spatial/linguistic): Make flashcards using key words or phrases; do not write a novel. Draw pictures to create visual connections.
Auditory (Musical):Create audio recordings of the material you need to learn. If you are really creative try writing a song or rap to put on you iPod.
Physical (kinesthetic):Create hand motions or actions for the important material you need to know. You could also try making a dance to connect all of the key ideas into one big story.
Logical (mathematical):Discover the reasons behind the facts. This will give you a deeper understanding of the material. Find ways to connect the information to real world situations, instead of just memorizing a bunch of nonsense.
Social (interpersonal): Get together with a group of friends to study. This will allow you to connect with other people who have different learning styles than you so you can see the information from every possible angle.
Solitary (intrapersonal):Find a quiet place to reflect on the material you need to learn. By blocking out all distractions you will be able to focus and get more done faster.
