Summers is here and if you’re looking for a way to get out of the house, try visiting one of these upcoming street festivals! It’s a great way to meet new people in your community and have a ton of fun without spending a ton of money.

 

Fredrick Festival of the Arts

 A weekend of live entertainment, art demonstrations, children’s activities, great food and much more. Admission is free. June 1-3  at Carroll Creek Linear Park in Fredrick.

Fenton Street Market

 Located on the corner of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, the market features art, jewelry, books and more. 10am-4pm every Saturday.

Annapolis Arts and Crafts Festival

Located at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, the festival includes artists and craftsmen from across the region, delicious food, and live entertainment. June 9-10

Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for children.

Gaithersburg Art Festival

 This two-day celebration of the arts features photography, sculpture, painting jewelry and a lot more - a great way to spend the weekend if you love art. June 23-24
