A lot of people struggle to figure out what they want to be when they grow up. That was never my problem. I anchored my high school’s morning announcements and from that point on I knew I’d have a career in news. The journey from the closed-circuit TV system at Central Bucks East High School to ABC2 has been an incredible adventure and I’ve enjoyed every step along the way.

I graduated from Penn State University after spending four years at the Main Campus. I started paying my dues right away thanks to my first job, which had me broadcasting forecasts to radio stations in the middle of the night for Accuweather. I spent several years in radio before making the switch to television. I worked as a reporter, anchor and talk show host at stations in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Washington, D.C. as well as State College, PA.

I made the jump to TV in 2002, taking a job at the NBC affiliate in Hagerstown. Then in 2003 I moved up the road to FOX in Harrisburg, PA, where I worked as the Bureau Chief in the state capital. I won my first Emmy award in that market, taking home a gold statue for Breaking News. I’ve added two more Emmy awards to my collection since coming to Baltimore in 2007. I handle consumer/investigative reporting for ABC2, which means I work for you. It’s my job to dig through data, uncover scams, ask the tough questions and confront the bad guys who try to do you wrong.

I’m a native of the Philly suburbs, but Baltimore has definitely grown on me. This town is full of interesting stories and I really love the challenge of bringing them to life. If you’ve got a story you think I need to hear, send it along.
