Christian reports primarily for ABC2 News The Latest at 11:00, and also for the 5pm and 6pm newscasts.

He covers local and state politics, along with breaking news, crime, weather, and whatever else the Baltimore region can throw at him.

In 2012 Christian provided gavel-to-gavel coverage from Charlottesville, Virginia, of the trial of George Huguely.  Huguely was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Cockeysville native Yeardley Love.

Christian usually works as an "MMJ" or "Multimedia Journalist" -- meaning he acts as both the reporter and photographer on most of his stories.

Before coming to ABC 2 News in June of 2006, Christian worked as a reporter in Harrisburg, PA. Before that, he was a news producer in Richmond, Greensboro and Boston. Christian received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond, and his master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Communication at Boston University.

Christian is originally from Calvert County.  His sister lives in Reisterstown, and his brother lives in (apologies) Pittsburgh.  Christian, his wife and their daughter live in Baltimore City.
