Christian reports primarily for ABC2 News The Latest at 11:00, and also for the 5pm and 6pm newscasts.
In late 2007, Christian provided extensive coverage of the Special Session of the Maryland General Assembly. He also covered Baltimore City’s primary election in 2007. The previous year he covered the Governor’s race and the race for US Senate. Also in 2006 he reported live from the scene of the deadly shootings at the Amish school house in Lancaster County, PA.
Before coming to ABC 2 News in June of 2006, Christian worked as a reporter in Harrisburg, PA. Before that, he was a news producer in Richmond, Greensboro and Boston. Christian received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond, and his master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Communication at Boston University.
Christian is originally from Calvert County, where his parents still live. His sister lives in Reisterstown, and his brother lives near Harrisburg. Christian and his wife are enjoying every possible moment with their baby daughter! They live in Baltimore City.
