Baltimore, MD - From the News Director:

So there is no hiding from all the changes that have happened on air and behind the scenes for the past decade. I was here for those changes, working as a producer on the 6pm newscast. You can read more about me in my bio below (link?)

But this page on our site isn’t about the past, it’s about our future, and getting back to what’s important to the viewer. I am of the belief that we will be a news leader again, but we can only get there one household at a time. So that’s why we’re doing more stories in your community. With your children or sister or brother, but that’s where you come in. I will always maintain we can’t be everywhere, all the time, so we need your help. Whether it’s an email giving us a story or pictures of an event we couldn’t make it to, it’s all about getting in your backyard.

My goal is to actually answer those emails and connect with people who are looking for a little advice or just someone to share their good news with. Even those emails I get complaining about this and that, I’ll answer.

At the same time I want you to know more about us. You are seeing new faces on our newscasts. And while I have 2 children at home, I brag about my co-workers just like I do my children.

So what you’ll get from me, is honesty, and that’s what I hope to get from you. Why do you watch? Why don’t you? What stories would you like to see more of? You will be my focus group of sorts. I’ll write about what’s going on behind the scenes and about the people at WMAR who are turning great stories that make a difference.

I am fortunate to work with incredible people every single day, my hope is that you’ll get to know them too, and see just how incredible they are.
