For parents, children, or anyone who suffers from a food allergy, avoiding any item that could possibly be detrimental to your health or cause a major allergic reaction can be very difficult. Just making sure a product that doesn't have the item you are allergic to but was produced at a place where a trace element could get into the food is even more challenging.
That's where the work of Jill Robins is impressive. Her son suffers from food allergies and she has spent the last few years, working with him, to find what they need to look for on product boxes. They have also come up with their own line of cookies for those with food allergies. This is significant considering bakery items are the toughest ones to deal with for those with food allergies.
