A local woman is using stuffed animals to bring smiles to children who need it.
Pamela Tomlinson, Chairman/CEO, who currently lives in Cecil County, Maryland started the Kids Defense Team back in 2003.
The program provides children and teens with disabilities and long-term illnesses toys and stuffed and stuffed animals to make them feel more comfortable during their trips back and forth to the doctors.
On Good Morning Maryland @ 9, Tomlinson explains how her personal experiences gave her the courage to start the program.
