Rough Surf, Coastal Floods In Ocean City

Last Update: 8/21/2009 12:54 pm
Lifeguards are keeping people close to the shore in Ocean City today.  Hurricane Bill is churning the Atlantic Ocean.

High tide came up so high that a lake formed on the beach.  You can see kids swimming and using their boogie boards in the lake behind the lifeguard stand.

Conditions are expected to get worse this weekend.  The combination of the hurricane and a high astronomical cycle will also lead to coastal flooding this weekend.
