The Loyola Blakefield Football Program, headed by Coach Brian Abbott, has over 160 members playing on four teams:
Varsity, Junior varsity, Freshmen and Middle School. The Dons are proud to be members of the MIAA "A" Conference and play one of the top schedules in the state.

Every Thanksgiving Day, the Dons take on the Calvert Hall Cardinals in a classic competition that is known as the Turkey Bowl. The event is played at M & T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens, drawing more than 15,000 fans and aired on WMAR TV and radio.
