NEW YORK (AP) -- Some of New York City's largest employers -- including Wall Street firms Goldman Sachs and Citigroup -- have started receiving some doses of swine flu vaccine.
City health officials say doctors for company health services can ask for the vaccine along with other city doctors. They can only vaccinate high-risk employees like pregnant women and those with chronic illnesses.
Most of the big employers to receive the vaccine are hospitals. Others on the list include Columbia University and the Federal Reserve Bank.
The swine flu vaccine has been in short supply because of manufacturing delays. Each state decides how to distribute its share of the vaccine. Health officials say those at high risk for complications should get it first.
