Edgar Allan Poe & the Ravens

Reported by: Dave McHugh
Last Update: 1/15 12:38 pm
This Sunday, after the Ravens game, we will gather on Greene Street and wait for a man in a black cloak and broad brimmed hat who will place a half bottle of cognac and three roses at the Edgar Allan Poe Tomb... and then disappear. But will that be the last time the "event" takes place at Poe's tomb and will we be celebrating a Ravens victory in his honor?

This morning on Good Morning Maryland @ 9, Jeff Jerome, Curator of the Poe House and Museum, joined Jamie to talk about everything "Poe", whose 200th birthday is coming up on Monday. They also talked about the effort by some in Philadelphia to take Poe from Baltimore. And Jeff even gives his predictions for Sunday's Ravens-Steelers game.
