A small Towson neighborhood is proud of a young man who just won a National Golf Championship in Florida.
21-year-old Vincent Biser who played on Towson High Schools Golf Team was the youngest golfer in the North American Championship One-Armed Golfer Association in Palm Beach Gardens Florida and he won it. Biser was born with Cerebal Palsy, partially paralyzed on one side of his body. He has the use of of only one arm. Golf gave him a reason to strive for more.
Vincent says he still can't believe he won the championship. "I didn't really expect to win, I just wanted to qualify for Championship Play", Vicent said. He qualified and he won. Vincent says he will now be included in the Ryder Cup for one armed guys, as he puts it. That's in September in Wales.
