BOCA RATON, FL--Good things definitely come in small packages.  Take four-year-old Alex Heard.  Last Sunday he did something most hackers and amateurs only dream of.

On the par 3, seventy five yard 7th hole at Red Reef Park in Boca Raton, Heard used his driver to hit the most difficult shot there is in the game of golf.

Alex made a hole in one.

"He knows how to hit high and low shots, and he did, he hit a perfect drive," said his father Rick.

With his father and mother watching, it was a moment even Alex was surprised happened.

"I was screaming. My mom and dad were screaming too," Alex said.

To put this in perspective the youngest person ever to record a hole in one was 4 years and 195 days.  Alex is not far behind at 4 years and 223 days.

"Some people never have one. It's one of those magical things that happens. It requires skill and luck and he had a combination of both," said Rick.

"Was that the best shot you ever hit?" Alex was asked. "Yeah, never had a hole in one before," he said.

A youngster doing something he may not even remember as an adult, but will have a record of for the rest of his life.
