At Least One Killed in Crash: I-95 South

Maryland State police say a Havre de Grace man has died in a two-vehicle crash on I-95 near the I-695 ramp.

Sixty-two-year-old Harvey Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened Tuesday about 6:30 a.m. Troopers say Fisher was driving a pickup truck south on I-95 in the left lane when he swerved across several lanes, apparently to get to the exit of I-95.

Fisher's vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer driven by 53-year-old Raymond Shelton Jr. of Lincoln, Del. Fisher's vehicle spun out of control and overturned.

Shelton was treated for injuries at the scene.

At least one person is dead after a crash on I-95 South on the eastbound ramp to I-695. Maryland State Police confirm there is one overturned vehicle. According to reports from the Maryland Department of Transportation, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The ramps to the inner and outer loops remain closed at this time. However, lanes on I-95 South are back open.
