Open only to legal residents of WMAR-TV viewing area (which includes only the (7) MD counties of Harford, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Carrol, Cecil, Queen Anne’s and Howard) who are 18 years of age or older. August 21st, 2008). Void in Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and wherever prohibited by law. Employees of SCRIPPS HOWARD BROADCASTING COMPANY d/b/a WMAR, aka. ABC2 their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each (collectively, “Sponsor”) are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.

HOW TO ENTER: A. Beginning August 21, 2008 through September 1, 2008, go to the Maryland State Fair located at and visit the Official WMAR/ ABC 2 Booth to complete an Official Entry Blank and drop in the Official Entry Container.

The WMAR/ ABC2 Booth will accept entries August 21st through August 31st from 11:00am -10:00pm and on September 1st from 11:00pm to 5:00pm. B. On a 3x5 card, hand print your complete name, address, city, state and zip code, date of birthday and evening telephone numbers(if you do not have a telephone number, indicate “No Phone.”

Failure to comply with this or any other official rule will result in disqualification.) Mail your entry in a hand addressed, business-size envelope (#10) with first class postage to: ABC2 State Fair Sweepstakes, c/o WMAR, 6400 York Rd, Baltimore, MD 21212. Entries must be received by close of business, by Friday, August 29, 2008. Limit one entry per envelope.

No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account identified on the online entry form.

The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

You may enter as often as you like, but regardless of entry method, each entry must be on a separate Official entry form or 3x5 card. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. RANDOM DRAWING:

Winner will be selected by random drawings on or about 9/2/2007 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of judges are final on all matters. Winner will be notified by phone/mail. Limit one prize per person/household address. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: (1) one grand prize twelve tickets to the Sunday, September 14th, 2007, 1 p.m. (ARV $1,644). Sesame Street Live “Elmo’s Green Thumb” Performance at First Mariner Arena will be awarded. Also included with the prize is (12) “Meet and Greet” coupons for a pizza party with one or more Sesame Street Characters to begin at noon on on Sunday, September 14th, 2008 at First Mariner Arena. Sesame Street Character(s) are scheduled to appear but are not guaranteed. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.

No substitutions or transfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted. Subject to all terms, conditions and restrictions on ticket or imposed by issuer. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Potential winners (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form, which may require social security number, postmarked within 10 days of the date on notification materials.

Noncompliance within this time period and/or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random draw from all remaining eligible entries. All winners must produce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value.

Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners’ name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

TERMS: Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion, whether caused by computer, technical or human error.

Winners assume all liability and agree to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, any damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the online portion of the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the sweepstakes whether caused by computer, technical or human error.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the program for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, freeze or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules.
