Hot on the Web

The web is quickly becomming the place to get your entertainment fix.  Beyond what we can already watch in primetime, there's a world of programming waiting for you... anytime you want to watch.

Word on the web is that Hulu is quickly approaching YouTube status, just in time for Disney.  The parent company of ABC just bought an ownership stake in hulu, meaning you'll now be able to catch the likes of Lost and Desperate Houswives, whenever you want, online.

Watching your favorite show on the web takes the stress out of missing an episode... but... diehard TV lovers may want to start looking into web-isodes.  You can watch them whenever you want!

It's a relatively new concept, but one that seems to be getting a ton of attention.

Video bloggers and independent producers, directors, actors... all with no affiliation to major networks... are making shows,  shows exclusive to the internet.  They write, shoot and edit them and then upload 'em.

Websites like blip.tv are at the forefront of this growing platform.  Blip execs say they leave video-content creators quote, "in control at all times."  They say that's what separates them from sites like you-tube.
