Family and Friends will gather at Huber Memorial Church on Wednesday for a Viewing to pay their final respect to former City Councilman Ken Harris.
On Saturday Harris was murdered in a robbery attempt outside a Jazz Club in Northeast Baltimore. Police went door to door in a 12-block area surrounding the Northwood Plaza where the murder happened.
Officers talked to residents to get new leads on the robbery and murder. While Police patrolled the area, Detectives told people at a community meeting that they hope to release footage from surveillance cameras.
Detectives say so far the investigation has turned up no solid suspects.
The Viewing for former Councilman Ken Harris will be held on Wednesday at Huber Memorial Church at 5701 York Road in Baltimore. The Viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm.
