Baltimore City Police have released video showing three men investigators are calling ‘persons of interest’ in the murder of former Baltimore City Councilman Ken Harris.

The videos were taken by surveillance cameras in the Northwood Plaza shopping center, one from the Save-A-Lot grocery store and another from the Bank of America ATM. The cameras caught the three men walking past, about a half-hour before the shooting outside the New Haven Lounge, which is also in the shopping center.

You can't see the men’s faces because they're walking away from the camera. But in one of the videos one of the men is holding something in his hand, that appears to be the Halloween mask worn by one of the men who robbed the bar and shot Ken Harris.

‘Hopefully they'll look at this, they'll realize the clothes that they were wearing, or maybe these three individuals hang out together a lot, any type of cues that might send up a red flag,’ said Officer Troy Harris, a spokesman for the Baltimore City Police Department.

Also Monday, police confirmed that they believe the same men robbed a BP gas station in the shopping center over the summer. Shell casings found at that scene, match the round used to kill Ken Harris. ‘It does appear that those shell casings were actually fired from the same gun that was used in this incident, this homicide,’ Ofc. Harris said.

Harris' widow released a statement, saying ‘We're encouraged by the progress Baltimore City Police are making in the search for Ken's killers. We strongly urge the public to help identify these ruthless criminals, so they can be brought to justice quickly and bring closure to this senseless tragedy.'

Police are still waiting for DNA tests on the Halloween mask. They don't know whether those three men are still in Baltimore.

If you recognize anything about them from those videos, please call city police at (410) 396-2100.
