Just How Safe Are Your Tires

Reported by: Dave McHugh
Last Update: 6/08 1:55 pm
It is Tire Safety Awareness Week, so it is the perfect time to make sure the tires on your vehicle are safe. Whether it is the proper tire pressure, checking on the tire wear, or age, not taking care of your tires can turn deadly on the roads.

Today on Good Morning Maryland @ 9, Jamie got one of the best lessons in tire safety we have ever seen from the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for the Rubber Manufacturers Association, Dan Zielinski. It is a demonstration that you have got to see before you hit the road with your family for that summer vacation. It could even save you money at the gas pump.
