Good Morning Maryland @ 9, Adam Rosenburg from the Baltimore Child Abuse Center discussed how to prevent child abuse and detect child abuse.
Rosenburg explained that the
BCAC has family of advocates who work help families heal after abuse incidents. The team works to connect families with treatment referrals, support groups, and counseling for dependency, domestic violence, mental health, and unemployment.
With
BCAC and people who are familiar with how to prevent and report child abuse working together, countless lives can be improved and even saved.
BCAC and the Afro-American Newspapers have also come together to raise money for child abuse help at a special premiere of the movie "Precious." The film will be shown at The Charles Theatre Saturday morning at 9:30am.
