If you have read my blog before…you have probably heard of Rommie Wheeler. I write about him from time to time. If you haven’t read my blog before (why the heck not?) – let me introduce you…he is a personal trainer I met through the Extreme Brickover challenge. He is awesome. At first, our goal was to get in shape for my August wedding now I am hooked. He is turning me into a “gym nerd”. He has been amazing. He is great to work with. He pushes me – but everything we do is something I can do on my own in the gym. He is inspiring and I learn something new every time I meet with him.
So – I want to try something new… once a week – I will give you a tip, some video, or advice from Rommie. This week – we couldn’t get together (which I hate) but he provided a little inspiration for those of you struggling with your workout. Here it is…
Okay so here is the scenario, you’re new to the gym or a fitness facility. During this time your blood is filled with excitement -- you’re like a locomotive coming down a hill… nothing can knock you off your path. You have weathered the storm of getting up late, friends asking you to deviate off your plans, sleeping in, and saying well I'll get back get on it tomorrow. You arrived out of those hail storms unbeaten. You are unstoppable standing up tall to the challenge and negativity which detour people from their precious gold "exercise"
