Before I get into all the wedding bliss and the amazing honeymoon, I have to say thank you. I returned from the trip of a lifetime this morning to a stuffed mailbox and overloaded email. I am humbled by all the kind words from viewers! Getting wedding cards from people I have never met, wishing us well is so incredibly sweet – it leaves me speechless. I cannot tell you how much it means to me. I will cherish the cards and the nice messages forever. Thank you fro the bottom of my very full heart.
So, on to the wedding… it was amazing! It was happiest (and fastest) day of my life! We had a small wedding of family and close friends. The ceremony was outdoors in a beautiful garden and the weather was perfect. The reception was festive and fun with a lot of dancing and laughing. I will never forget my father walking me down the aisle, our vows, the toasts, dancing with Rob, seeing everyone I hold dear to my heart... I could go on forever. I’m gushing in a blog. It was magical.
We went to Croatia (yes, Croatia) for our honeymoon. It was fantastic. I will try to post some pictures later in the week. We spent 10 days floating on a sea of fabulous. We ate delicious food, drank great wine, swam in the Adriatic everyday, laughed a lot, listen to lots of live music, hiked, and did a lot of sight seeing. It was a wonderful trip.
I’m happy to be back to Baltimore and happy to be back at work. Honestly, I’m just plain happy.
