Have you thought that every weekend this month was a washout? That is our day to get out and play, catch up on yard work, etc. OK- there is Sunday, but many of us spend the afternoons parked on the couch watching football. Given the Raven's play this month, I'd like some of those days back.
Looking at the official daily stats for BWI-Marshall this October, every Saturday has had rain. In fact the past two have had heavy rain on the order of 1-2 inches across the region.
Take a look at the attached chart, with all of the Saturdays highlighted. If you have been complaining, you are justified. There is no particular reason for this, other than a pattern of storms that has continued to mar our weekends. For what it is worth, this Saturday is Halloween, and has averaged well above normal temperatures in the past few years. In fact our last chilly and wet Halloween was in 2002 when we were stuck at 48F. Since then...check out these afternoon temperatures all above our normal of 62F

There is hope for some warm air to try and make a return.
