Last weekend, I was the MC for an event at The Power Plant Live put on by
CREATE: Everyday Geniuses- Celebrate Your Style Family Fun Day. Part of my duties was to introduce the entertainment. The first act caught me by surprise. Joanie Leeds, a native of Pikesville, now lives in New York City and puts on quite a show with just an acoustic guitar. She has one adult CD, but it was her kids music that I was honored to hear. Her new album
City Kid has already received great acclaim. Joanie's live performance had my son and I dancing. So when we got home, we searched for this new video for Little Sun. As a weather geek, I was already a fan. The song is catchy, and the video is so cute, I had to share. My family has watched it at least a dozen times already, and I am sure you will too. We are working to bring her in for an appearance on our Good Morning Maryland, so stay tuned.
