Event: After a couple of weeks, break from what had been a uniformly cold winter; 15-20" of snow fell in Philadelphia on the 21st.

Place: Memphis, TN
Year: 1968
Event: After 36 hours of rain, the rain turned to snow and accumulated 16.1 inches before ending nearly 20 hours later.
