Baltimore Girl Scouts Recognized for Green Efforts

Some local girl scouts are being recognized by Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon for their efforts to make the city greener and cleaner.

The Green Girl Scouts of Westside Elementary school were honored for their hard work at City Hall today. The girls planted 15 trees three last month. It's part of the city's Greening Beautification Initiative.  Dixon gave the girl scouts a magnet to put on their fridges at home with tips to be environmentally friendly.
