The AAA Mid-Atlantic reported big declines in people driving over the Fourth of July weekend, but that is not expected to be the case over Labor Day weekend.
The AAA-Mid Atlantic predicts a slight decrease in drivers over Labor Day, just .6 percent. Lower gas prices could be a factor. Marylanders are now paying $3.56 a gallon for regular unleaded, compared to July Fourth, when they were paying over $4.00 per gallon.
