Drivers couldn't believe their eyes when they saw gas prices this morning. At a station on York and Bellona they filled up for under three dollars a gallon.
Driver Frank Davis of Baltimore says he's been having to cutback on his groceries to buy gas. He says the lower gas prices will free up some extra cash to pay other bills.
Triple A Mid-Atlantic reports gas prices have dropped 26-cents a gallon over the last week in our area. Nationally, the average price of regular unleaded gas dropped 35-cents over the past week to a an average of $3.31.
Analysts say if crude oil prices continue to drop, we could see even lower prices in the coming weeks.
