America's Financial Expert Ellie Kay says you need to be eager or patient if you want to save the most money on Back To School Shopping.
In her book, "A Tip A Day with Ellie Kay," she says you should try to start in July. That's when stores have the most sales and selection.
If you're not ready for that, Kay suggests that you should be patient. Wait until the last couple weeks before school starts. Most retailers hold clearance sales then. Kay says she's even seen backpacks on sale for 75%.
