COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Howard County police say an 18-year-old Columbia man was shot after a fight broke out on a basketball court.
Police said the teen had been playing basketball with a group of people on Cradlerock Way in the Owen Brown village on Thursday evening when a fight started.
The teen, whose name was not released, was shot during the fight and he went to his home with friends where they called 911 about 7:30 p.m.
Police say the teen was taken to Shock Trauma with nonlife-threatening injuries.
