CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Police in Cumberland say they have charged a Frostburg man with obstructing their investigation into the slaying of his estranged wife. Thirty-one-year-old Steven Leyh was released on $3,500 bond after his arrest Wednesday at his apartment. Police have not identified Leyh as a suspect in the death of 42-year-old Rose Marie Leyh. Her bludgeoned body was found in her Cumberland residence May 26. No one has been charged in her slaying. Police say Steven Leyh interfered with investigators' attempt to search his home and collect DNA samples. His lawyer, Gregg Schaaf, declined to comment on the case. Court records show that Steven Leyh had filed for divorce in March. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
