Ocean City Police arrested two teenagers after explosive devices were found in an apartment.
18-year-old Jesse Armstrong and a 17-year-old were arrested on July 9, after receiving calls the two were throwing explosives in milk cartons on the 700 block of Rusty Anchor Road. The teens, both from Woodland, Pennsylvania, were charged with manufacturing a destructive device and disorderly conduct.
Investigators say they found burned grass and asphalt spread over a wide area in front of an apartment where the two were staying. The bomb squad found materials used to make several self-igniting explosive devices.
Armstrong is free on $2,500 bond. The 17-year-old was released to his parents.
