Man Sentenced for Sexually Abusing 2 Daughters

ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- A 37-year-old Cecil County man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing two of his daughters. The man, who pleaded guilty last month to two counts of sexual child abuse, was sentenced on Wednesday. Prosecutors say the man repeatedly raped the two girls between January 2006 and January 2009. Authorities say the daughters were about 6 and 9 when the abuse began. Police began an investigation when the victim's older sister told school officials that her father had abused her when the family lived in another state. She was concerned that her father was abusing her younger sisters.
