Officials are warning boaters this holiday weekend to lock up their boats after several televisions were stolen from 18 boats in Georgetown this week.

On Wednesday, between 2 a.m. and 6 p.m., 18 boats were broken into at the Skip Jack Cove on the Sassafras River, authorities say. No one has been charged yet for the robbery.

Natural Resources Police want to remind everyone to lock their boats when unattended and to keep all valuables in the boat and out of sight.

If you have any information about the robbery you are asked to call 1-800-628-9944.
