According to the Baltimore City Police Department, an off duty Baltimore City Police officer was stabbed in Dundalk around 2:00 a.m. this morning.
The attack happened on North Point Boulevard in the parking lot of Christinea's Female Revue.
The off duty off was stabbed in the neck and then shot the suspect. Both the off duty officer and suspect were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
There is no word on a motive in the attack.
Baltimore City Police Commissioner Fred Bealfeld showed at the Shock Trauma to check on the officer. The 42-year-old officer that was shot is a fifteen year veteran of the Baltimore City Police Department and is assigned to the Violent Crime Impact Division where he specializes in the gun unit.
