A Baltimore woman who vanished last October has been found dead and her former boyfriend is charged with the murder.
The remains of Mia Nichols were discovered by hunters September 26th in a wooded area off Dogwood Road in Baltimore County.
Baltimore County Police Spokesman Bill Toohey told ABC2 dental records were used to identify the skeletal remains.
Police say Nichols, a mother of three, was involved in a volatile relationship with Tyrone Lamont Webb at the time of her disappearance.
Webb was long considered a suspect in the case, but without a body police had no case.
According to charging documents police identified several witnesses who led them back to Webb including the victim's then eight year old son.
Webb is now charged with first degree murder and being held without bail in the Baltimore County Detention Center.
