Charles Friedel pleaded guilty today to one count of sexual solicitation of a minor. Friedel's trial was supposed to begin today.
The 33-year-old, who coached at the Greater Baltimore Soccer Club, sent inappropriate text messages and nude pictures of himself to the 14-year-old victim.
Police say the victim's father called Baltimore County police. Investigators say Friedel had been offering to give private soccer lessons to the victim. was sister of a girl Friedel coached at the Greater Baltimore Soccer Club.
Friedel was arrested at the Royal Farms store in Essex last July during an undercover sting. Friedel will be sentenced in May.
