Officers were called to Motel 6 in the 5100-block of Raynor Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. An employee told officers a man came into the story, displayed a knife and demanded money. He then jumped over the counter and reached into the cash drawer. The suspect fled on foot towards Nursery Road with an undetermined amount of cash.

Officers searched the area but were not able to find the man.

The suspect is described as a male in this mid 20's, approximately 5'6 to 5'8 tall and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans, and a blue bandanna covering his face.
